Satirical solution of the gender inequality in America.

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Gender Inequality

Madeline Sisson

Issues in the US

  • Wage gap
  • Representation in government
  • Poverty/Job opportunities
  • Sexual Assualt
60 percent of sexual assaults have gone unreported since 2009 (AAUW)

Women represent less than 20 percent of Congress (AAUW)

"By the time a college-educated woman turns 59, she will have lost almost $800,000 throughout her life due to the gender wage gap." (Smilowitz)

"In just about every state in the country, Millennial women are more likely than Millennial men to have a college degree, yet Millennial women also have higher poverty rates and lower earnings than Millennial men." (Smilowitz)

Solutions

  • Catcall men to make them feel insecure and like they need us in order to feel validated as a person
  • Use men as sexually objectified objects more often in commercials, tv programs, and movies in order to achieve the same affect as mentioned above.
  • Judge male political campaigns only by appearances, not policies so that women can make their way up to over 50 percent of Congress and begin to represent themselves!
  • Now that both genders are in Congress women can begin to limit male rights as they have done to women, its only fair of course, oh and women might as well take advantage of their new found power and give themselves some unfair, but totally equal rights.
It would be easy to just simply overcome the gender inequality by enacting legislature and breaking societal barriers by not allowing for harassment and unfair opportunities to control women's lives. That just isn't going to cut it though. We need real change, and to achieve that women must become one with the human characteristics of a male, and compete until we destroy and conquer the male race.
