GENERAL VANG PAO (OVERVEIW)

  • He was born DECEMBER 8, 1929,  Xiangkhouang 
  • He was a Hmong Leader by bring Hmong to USA
  • He join CIA when he was age 13 
  • He died  JANUARY 6, 2011, aged 81 Clovis, California, U.S.

GENERAL VANG PAO (POSITIVE)

  • General Vang Pao was a Great Leader to our Hmong
  • 1961, Vang Pao handup with Colonel Bill Lair, to fight communists.
  • May 1975,  General Vang Pao was evacuated by air to Thailand,
  • 1975, Hmong attempt to escape Laos crossing the Mekong River to Thailand.
  • He help the Hmong to America

GENERAL VANG PAO( NEGATIVE )

  • Vang Pao created a secret arm force against Communists
  • He help the Hmong to pass the Mekong River into Thailand  
  • He only brought half of the Hmong to America 
  • Hmong babies died when their parents used opium to quiet them 
  • They did this because of running to Thailand for freedom
