Turner syndrome only effects girls and women,
Turner syndrome occurs when you are born with only one X chromosome and the most likely cause is an error in one of the parents chromosomes that were given.

Signs of turner syndrome
Turner syndrome is usually diagnosed in infancy or early childhood though sometimes it can be diagnosed in teen or early adult years.

Turner syndrome can cause multiple problems such as short height, learning disabilities, heart defects, and social adjustment problems.

Turner syndrome is found in 1 in every 2500 girls it is not curable though it can be treated to dull some of the effects.

The life expectancy for someone with turner syndrome is usually 50 years old with treatment but if symptoms are not detected they could die young.

One of the Treatments for this syndrome include growth hormones which help with growth and development which are effected by turner syndrome possible future treatments include newborn screenings which should help detect turner syndrome faster and give time to prevent it from developing further.
