• Very little rain fall
• Between north of china and south of Mongolia
• Lots of droughts
• Grows fast due to desertification

HIMALAYAS

• Highest mountain range
• means House of Snow in Sanskrit
• very popular for tourists
• Has five main rivers

YELLOW SEA

• Between mainland china and Korean Peninsula
• Name comes from sand particles of gobi
• Yellow and hai he rivers flow into it
• Color made by sand and silt

YELLOW RIVER

• known as ‘River of Sorrow’
• Also called Huang He
• Winds 3,000 miles
• Flows into the Yellow Sea
