  • Name comes from sand particles of gobi
  • Yellow and hai he rivers flow into it
  • Color made by sand and silt

YELLOW RIVER

  • known as ‘River of Sorrow’
  • Also called Huang He
  • Winds 3,000 miles
  • Flows into the Yellow Sea
