S.e.a.: INDOCHINA PENINSULA
The peninsula is bounded on the north by India and China
Much of the area is mountainous
The peninsula has a tropical climate with heavy seasonal rainfall.

S.E.A.: IRAWADDY RIVER
Formed in the mountains of northern Burma where the Mali and Nmai rivers join
Most of Burma's people live along the river valley, where a large surplus of
rice is grown and exported.
Rangoon, Burma's capital, is connected by a canal to the eastern arm
of the delta. (4) It empties into the Andaman Sea, part of the Indian Ocean.

A barren and sparsely populated desert area of southern Australia.
Consists of many small sandhills, grassland plains, areas with a
closely packed surface of pebbles (3) Arid desert which is mostly unpopulated.

A mountain range which runs along the western side of the South Island
It forms a natural dividing range along the entire length of the South Island.
Part of the Pacific Ring of Fire,

The longest river on the island of New Guinea
Large floating islands of vegetation drifting in the channel
Winds through lowland swamp plains to the north coast

MICRONESIA: REPUBLIC OF MARSHALL ISLANDS
Consists of 29 atolls
The atolls and islands are situated in two almost parallel chain like formations
Divided into two chains: the western, or Ralik, group; and the eastern, or Ratak, group
The islands are of coral reef types and rise only a few feet above sea level

volcanic island surrounded by a vibrant blue lagoon and barrier reef
Much of Bora Bora's landscape is composed of luscious green hillsides and black volcanic rock
The twin peaks of Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu lie within the center of the island
Mount Otemanu is the highest point of Bora Bora

Australia's most substantial mountain range
It consists of a complex of mountain ranges, plateaus, and upland areas
The sharp rise between the coastal lowlands and the eastern uplands has
affected Australia's climate (4) The crest of the range is defined by the
watershed or boundary between the drainage basins of rivers

Considered to be the world's largest reef system
It is the world's biggest structure made out of living species
Located in the Coral Sea
Stretches from Torres Strait in the north to the area between Lady Elliot
and Fraser Islands in the south.
