Acute angle:
An angle with a measure greater than 0 and less than 90

Obtuse angle:
Any angle that measures greater than 90 but less than 180

Right angle:
An angle that measures exactly 90

Straight angle:
An angle that measures exactly 180

Vertical angles:
Opposite angles formed by the intersection of two lines.

Adjacent angles:
are two angles that have a common vertex and a common side

complementary angles :
either of two Angles whose sum is 90°

supplementary angles:
either of two angles whose sum is 180°.

CORRESPONDING ANGLES:
any pair of angles each of which is on the same side of one of two lines cut by a transversal and on the same side of the transversal.

A transversal:
is two parallel lines intersected by a third line at an angle.

acute triangle:
all angles are less than right angleseach one is less than 90 degrees. An acute triangle may be equilateral, isosceles, or scalene

RIGHT TRIANGLE:

A TRIANGLE WITH A RIGHT ANGLE.

An obtuse angle:
is any angle larger than 90 degrees. An obtuse triangle is a triangle containing an obtuse angle.

A scalene triangle is a triangle that has three unequal sides, such as those illustrated above.

isosceles triangle:
is a triangle that has two sides of equal length

Equilateral Triangle:
A triangle with all three sides of equal length
