Leipzig Book Fair

• It is the 2nd largest book fair in Germany after the Frankfurt Book Fair.
• It features more than 2,600 events held at 350 difference venues.
• It provides extensive information about new publications current and future trends
• In 2010 the fair experience attendance registering  156,000 visitorsfrom 39 countries.
• In 2012,  there were 163,000 visitors.

Richard Wagner Festival

• It is a music festival held annually in Bayreuth, Germany.
• Performances of operas by the 19th-century German composer Richard Wagner are presented.
• Performances take place in a specially designed theatre, the Bayreuth Festspielhaus.
• He personally supervised the design and construction of the theatre.
• The Festival has become a pilgrimage destination, often must wait years to obtain tickets.

Oktoberfest

• It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in October
• More than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year.
• Large quantities of Oktoberfest Beer are consumed, with almost 7 million litres served
• It is a mixture of attractions, such as amusement rides, sidestalls and games
• Variety of food such as roast chicken,roast pork, grilled ham hock, grilled fish on a stick,sausages along pretzel

• The first three days are restricted exclusively to trade visitors
• Representatives from book publishing come in order to negotiate international publishing rights
• For 5 days, 7,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and more than 286,000 visitors take part
• The Frankfurt Book Fair has a tradition that spans over more than 500 years
