ENTERING THE CLASS

• Proceed to your seat
• Get started on your work
• Go about each step quietly

EXITING THE CLASSROOM

• Wait until the teacher dismisses you
• On your way out the classroom place your work in the "Exit Ticket" bin
• You will be allowed to leave once trash is picked up, books are on the shelf, and everyone is seated

SPEAKING IN CLASS

• You must raise your hand to speak in the classroom
• If you have a question or want to answer a question, raise your hand
• When a teacher calls on you then you may answer or ask your question

TURNING IN WORK

• All work during class will be collected and turned in for grading
• Any work that is not turned in will not be graded
• You are responsible for any work that is not submitted, NO ONE ELSE

TEXTBOOKS

• Books are to be stored on the shelf
• Textbooks will not be taken outside of class
• One student from each row is responsible for getting books
• Books must be properly put back prior to being dismissed

HOMEWORK

• Homework will be due at the beginning of class
• Late homework must be submitted in the "Late Homework" folder
• 10 points will be deducted for each day homework is late

BATHROOM/WATER PRIVLEDGES

• Student has two bathroom passes per nine weeks
• Bathroom trips should be no longer than five minutes
• Unused bathroom passes can be redeemed as extra credit

UNPREPARED FOR CLASS?

• If you do not have a pen/pencil you may borrow one from the teacher
• Return what you have borrowed before the end of class
• Pencils should be sharpened before class starts

TEST TAKING TIME

• No talking
• Eyes on your own paper
• Guard your paper
• Raise your hand if you have a question
• Turn your paper over when you are finished

LATE TO CLASS?

• If student is late to class without a pass he/she will be tardy
• First tardy - Warning, Second - SAC for a day, Third - Parent Conference
• Consecutive amounts of tardies could lead to school suspension

FIRE DRILL

• When fire alarm goes off remain seated
• The teacher will let you know when to line up at the door
• The teacher will lead the line to the parking area
• Roll will be taken once we reach the location
• When the drill is over wait for teacher's instructions

LOCKDOWN PROCEDURES

• Move away from doors and windows
• Sit quietly
• Wait for further directions
