WHAT IS GHB??

  • Gamma Hydroxybutyrate, made with GBL and lye
  • A depressant
  • Effects Central Nervous System
  • No medical use, commonly abused
  • U.S. classified as one of most dangerous drugs

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFECTS

  • Effects several neurotransmitter systems
  • Slower heart beat, makes you relaxed
  • Nausea, hallucinations, amnesia, depression
  • Have trouble breathing , lowered blood pressure
  • Higher dose(2-5g)- coma or death

CONSUMTION

  • Taken by mouth, in form of liquid
  • Usually mixed with alcohol & ecstasy
  • Liquid colorless and odorless
  • Slightly salty/soapy taste
  • Average dose: 1-5 grams, sold $5-$10

HOW ADDICTING?
Causes memory loss which is frustrating, so many take it again to get rid of that feeling.
Insomnia, anxiety, tachycardia, tremors, agitation

RISKS AND DANGERS

  • After 1gm, relaxer
  • 1-2 relaxes slows heartbeat
  • 2-4 speech and movement slurs
  • High doses, deep sleep, coma, and death
