JUDGE FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT
Gideon is important to in Salvation History, because he kept the people of Israel from worshipping in false gods. Without him, we might have not known that there is only one true God. Gideon set a great example for all Christians to always have faith in our Lord.

Gideon foreshadows Jesus's birth in one way. He tell the people of Israel to worship our one God. This one God will send someone one to save us all.

God reveals Himself to Gideon in technically four ways. He first tells Gideon that he will need to help the people of Israel concentrate in believing our only God. The other three ways were miracles Gideon asked. God to preform to prove his true presence.

Gideon encourages us to keep our faith. He tries to tell us and the people of Israel that no matter what we shall not stray from God. God has a plan for us all and we need to have faith in Him.
