They form when a volcano erupts far beneath the surface
Some examples are Hawaii

TRADE WINDS
They are winds that blow toward the equator both north and south
As they blow toward the equator they shift westward
The shifting is caused by the rotation of the earth
When the winds blow across the ocean they move water towards surface
This moving of the surfaces causes ocean currents

Ocean currents move in a circular pattern
As the currents move it warms the sun warms the water
As the currents they act as a heating systems
They warm the air in coastal areas and heats what other wise would be cold
