A girder bridge
Is made of iron,steel,concrete. This bridge is related to the trestle,truss and moon bridges.

Pont de Quebec is the longest steel girder bridge. It expands 549 meters long. Constructed in 1917.

The most familiar bridge that you know of I-5 is a girder bridge, made of steel and concrete.

This is the steel bridge located in Portland Oregon The width of this bridge is 71 feet and the longest spam is 211 feet.

This is a steel box girder bridge.
A steal box girder bridge is used for long spans. The clean lines of box girder bridges gives it excellent apperance and durability.

Curved bridge
Where the road is curved in plan.
Box girders can be curved to suit.

We chose the girder bridge because we wanted to do the double bridge without doing a suspension.
