Geography Of India

Landscape And Climate Of India

  • The landscape in India is divided into five regions: the Northern mountains, the great plains, the Thar Desert, the Central Highlands and the coastal plains.
  • The Himalayas occupy most of the landscape of Northern India
  • The climate is tropical monsoon or tropical wet

Effects Of The Water Crisis

  • Every year, about 600,000 Indian children die of pneumonia or diarrhea, often caused by toxic water or poor hygiene.
  • Plants need water and sunlight. If the water that they use is not clean or good for them, the plants die.

Other Effects Of The Water Crisis
