LOW PRESSURE OCCURS OVER THE OCEAN DURING THE NIGHT AND HIGHER PRESSURE OVER THE LAND DUE TO THE UNEVEN HEATING OF EARTH. THIS CAUSES WIND TO MOVE FROM THE LAND TO THE OCEAN CREATING A "LAND BREEZE".
DURING THE DAY, THE AIR ON A MOUNTAINTOP IS WARMER THAN AIR IN THE VALLEYS. THE AIR MOVES FROM THE HIGH PRESSURED AIR IN THE VALLEY TO THE MOUNTAINTOP. THIS IS CALLED A VALLEY BREEZE.
