PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Globalization in History:
Christian missionaries from Europe came to The Americas, and converted many populations to Christianity. This affects people because, people should be allowed to practice whatever religion they choose, and by converting them, they might have felt that they lost part of their identity.
Communication:
People all over the world can quickly find out about things in other countries like a natural disaster. This affects people, because we are able to respond to disasters faster if we know right away when they happen.
Travel:
Migrant workers from the Philippines, may travel to Australia, or the U.S for better paying jobs. This affects them because a better paying job means they can support their families much easier.
Popular culture:
People in America may enjoy listening to South African music,or reading Japanese comic books. This affects people because by listening to music, or reading books from other cultures, it helps to broaden your horizons.
Economy:
American software companies rely on international trade, to make large profits. This affects people because if the U.S wasn't able to make international trades then we wouldn't make as big of a profit.
Political:
Many problems today cross national borders so countries must work together to solve them.
This affects people because if we weren't able to solve problems with other countries, many of them wouldn't be solved.
