We are made by God, we are His workmanship. God's work is good and perfect. We were made with a purpose and in Christ that purpose is redeemed. We have taken God's good creation, ourselves and corrupted it with sin but through Jesus, God redeems us and makes us new. Our true purpose In God can once again be fulfilled as we are able to do what God made us to do.

GENESIS 1:27-31
IT WAS VERY GOOD
When God made man He made him in God's very own image. He made man unique, made to be like Himself made to look after all the other parts of creation. After God had made man He said it is very good, not just good but very good. Man was God's best creation. He intended it to be that way.

HE CARES FOR US
God made man to look after all the rest of creation. God considers man a creation worth looking after and having a personal relationship with. God has always been intimately involved with His favourite creation.

Man is God's favourite creation the one that He puts above all others. It is only man that He speaks about the way He does. He cares about all of His creation but only man was made to look like Him and behave like Him and have a relationship with Him.

The value of something can be determined by its price. What someone is willing to pay for it. God gave His one and only son for us, that is our value. To God, we are more important than Himself. We are His most valuable creation.

EPHESIANS 1:3-11
GOD LOVED US SO MUCH HE BOUGHT US WITH Christ'S BLOOD
We were slaves to sin. Sin owned us and was our master, a cruel and deadly master. Jesus walks into the slave market and with His own blood with His own life bought us, redeemed us from sin and set us free to live in relationship with Him. We once were nothing, all the things the world said about us were true, but no longer, now we are children of God, now we are valuable, now we have a purpose, now we can no longer consider ourselves as we once did.

God cares about us and our lives. He knows our worries and our concerns and He cares and acts on our behalf. We are not alone, we are masterpieces made by the greatest artist, more valuable than any other piece. We are cared for and have a purpose and it is time to start acting like the valuable individuals we are.
