Gold is the most precious metal of them all.
You can pan for gold and for only 1 ounce you can sell it for $1,100.
1 ounce is about 28 paper clips
-Gold has been around since the beginning of time.
-It was found by the Romans and Egyptians.
-It was found in tombs in old ancient civilizations.
-Gold has been dating back since 2600 B.C

-You can pan for gold
-It's used in medicine, and an isotope of gold is used to treat cancer.
-Christopher Columbus found gold nuggets lying in the bottom of lakes and rivers in Haiti.

- Most "gold" jewelry actually has real gold unfortunately most of it only has a gold plated covering.
- Gold can be modeled into a thin gold leaf and can be folded and torn as easily as paper
- Gold is also known as a precious metal
