  • Qadis and Ulama brought stability to disputes, conflict
  • Well organized bureaucracy

AGRICULTURE (TRADE)

  • Major crops were rice, wheat, spinach, egg plant, oranges, bananas
  • Cotton became popular
  • Trade introduced new variety to diets
  • Muhammad was mercant so it inspired others to be one too

RELIGION

  • Used religious leaders such as ulama and qadis
  • Theologians in Madrasas used greek philosophy
  • Sufi's used mystical aspects instead of human reasoning
