GREENHOUSE EFFECT

  • Earths greenhouse effect is when the heat from the sun is absorbed by
  • greenhouse gasses such as carbon and re-radiated in all directions. The
  • Greenhouse gasses act the same way as a greenhouse because the suns
  • heat is captured and warms the earth. Without earths greenhouse gasses
  • earth would be about 33 degrees centigrade colder.

EARTH VENUS MARS

  • Venus's atmosphere is about 90 times thicker than Earth's & is 96.7% CO2
  • The surface of Venus is about 470 degrees Celsius
  • Mars's atmosphere is significantly less dense producing a surface
  • Temperature of -55 degrees Celsius

CARBON CYCLE

  • Carbon exists in the atmosphere in two main forms: CO2 and methane
  • leaves the atmosphere through the process of photo synthesis.
  • absorb carbon out of the atmosphere and heterotopous receive carbon
  • By consuming plants and other organisms. This carbon is used to create
  • more organic matter by the body. When an organism dies carbon returns

COULD WE LIVE ON VENUS

  • No, the technology required would mean being a bubble
  • That protects from the heat pressure and provides gasses to
  • Breath and survive

COULD WE LIVE ON MARS

  • Living on mars is is possible with the
  • Right technology. It would have to keep
  • Us at the correct temperature and provide
  • The gasses needed to survive as well as
  • Protect us from the pressure levels on mars.
