PRESENTATION OUTLINE

--GOLGI BODIES--

•Address: the golgi apparatus is a flattened stack of tubular membranes which is the central organelle mediating protein and lipid transport within the eukaryotic cell

•Location: near the nucleus of the cell

•Objective: proteins
•Experience: modifies, sorts, and packages proteins into vesicles and transports them to other organelles or out of the cell

Hobbies: Just like the works at the grocery store, Golgi bodies like to sort the protein ant deliver them to some specific part of the cell.

Reference: Endoplasmic Reticulum: the protein is budded out from the endoplasmic reticulum with its own membrane. It is a vesicle. So the vesicles take some proteins and attach themselves to the Golgi bodies.
