GOOD STEWARDSHIP

Stewardship is an ethic that embodies the responsible planning and management of resources. The concepts of stewardship can be applied to the environment,economics, health,property, information , theology, etc.

• God sent down man to watch over the Earth
• God wanted us to protect it and watch over it
• God built the Earth before man so we could live in a beautiful place

“BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY, AND FILL THE EARTH AND SUBDUE IT.”

• Can mean either two things
• Offspring
• Or the goods of the Earth

We must make good use of the gifts we have available to us.

We must preserve them for good use and the use of future generations so they can share in God's goodness

An increased sense of God and an increased self-awareness are fundamental to the development of human society.

Man's domain over all thing on Earth is not guaranteed. It is limited by concern for his neighbors quality of life.
