Constitution

The founding rules or regulations that define a nation.

Democracy

A form of government where power is divided between the citizens and different branches of the government.

Free Market

A form of economy where prices and sales are not regulated by the government.

Communism

A system where all economic and social activities are controlled by a government.

Monarchy

A form of government where all power is held by a single person.

Oligarchy

A system where power is given to a few people or an elite group of people.

Limited Government

Laws and regulations define what the government can and can't do.

Confederacy

A group of peoples or other groups that form an alliance.

Representative Government

The citizens control and determine what the government can and can't do.

Free Market - Communism

In a free market, sales and money is controlled by the citizens. With Communism, money is controlled by the government.

In an Oligarchy power is distributed across a certain class of people. In a Monarchy, power is only given to a single person.
