After introducing myself to the client, getting them draped, and consulting with them about their hair, I would begin the haircut. I would start by wetting the hair and sectioning it into 4 parts. Then I would start with a vertical parting in the middle on the back of the head; using a 45 degree elevation to establish my guide. I would work my way around the sides, pulling each vertical parting to the middle guideline. After that I would blend away any harsh lines. Then finish by blow drying and styling the client’s hair. And voila! Graduated haircut complete.
