Geography

The Yangtze River is useful for the farmers. They can grow rice because of the warm climate and rainy weather. The Himalaya Mountains are an importance to the Chinese religion and were considered sacred.

Religion
Their belief was Confucianism. Confucius is a philosopher and he would teach people to be kind. People followed what he had said about respect, kindness, and relationships of family. Another belief is Buddhism, and Buddhists believe in "rebirth" of the self.
They also believed in Karma. Karma is if you do something good, goodness will come in return, but is you do something bad, the badness will return.

Politics
Ancient China had governments that were ruled by dynasties. When one dynasty became dominated, their king would become the emperor. Confucianism was developed in ancient China. Emperors and officials were to be virtues and effective.

Economy

Chinese would trade salt ,iron ,fish ,and cattle. Is you wanted to trade people would measure and weight it. At the eastern route people from China would trade with people from India. They would trade silk,Jade, and glass.
