2.
GRAVITY AND ACCELERATION
Objects fall to the ground at the same rate - regardless of mass/weight
Acceleration due to gravity depends on force and mass

3.
ACCELERATION AND VELOCITY
Acceleration is the change in velocity overtime
Velocity is speed in a given direction
Unbalanced forces cause objects to accelerate
Gravity is the downward, unbalanced force that acts on falling objects. = 9.8 m/s squared
For every second an object falls, its downaward velocity increases

4.
ACCELERATION AND TERMINAL VELOCITY
Air resistance increases as the speed of a falling object increases
Terminal velocity is when the downward force of gravity equals the upward force of air resistance
Net force = Zero Newtons
Falling object stops accelerating

5.
AIR RESISTANCE
Force that opposes gravity
Acts in opposition to objects falling through the air
Depends On: Shape of objects, speed of the objects,
Surface area and size of the object.

6.
FREE FALL AND AIR RESISTANCE
An object is in free fall when the only force acting on it is gravity
These can be NO air resistance

7.
PROJECTILE MOTION
Two movements:
Force; gives horizontal motion
Gravity; gives vertical motion
Combination makes objects curve towards earth.
