  • Family destruction

Stock market crash: dramatic decline in stock prices that results in loss of paper wealth.

Hoovervilles- towns that were built by unemployed people during the Great Depression in the early 1930's.

FDR's New Deal- government programs , established by Franklin D. Roosevelt in the1930's, to improve the conditions of those who were suffering in the Great Depression.
