• Brothers then drew lots to determine what the rule, Poseidon drew water

• No specific city dedicated directly to Poseidon.
• He and Athena did fight over the city of Athens, he obviously lost.

CLAIM TO FAME

• He created horses from sea spray
• God of the sea and earthquakes
• Brother to Zeus and Hades

STORY

• The Greek Gods fought the Titans for control of the world
• He helped, he used the kraken.
• He was then assigned to the sea after after the war.
