Monarchy(strengths)
The definition of a monarchy is they are a king or queen or emperor who was legally king
- One strength is that the king had aristocrats to help him rule the city state
- Another strength is that the king could only rule for a certain time

- One weakness is that the aristocrats wanted the power of the city state and would over throw the king
- Another weakness is that whenever they still passed on power from father to son the son could have been a very cruel brutal leader

Oligarchy(strengths)
A oligarchy is a few people who rule a city state or other
- One strength is they had more then one person to help make decisions.
- Another strength is they made money for themselves but it made the city states richer and could get finer items to their city state

- One weakness is they would make the poor farmers to their work for them while they were at parties.
- Another weakness is while the poor got poorer the oligarchies got richer and they would get tired of getting poorer and would get the help of military leaders
to over throw the oligarchies

A tyrant is a ruler that is illegally ruling the city state or other
- One strength is they would cancel the debt to the poor
- Another strength is they would take away some of the aristocrats land to help the poor

- One weakness is they cannot claim the right to rule so they couldn't pass down power to father to son
- Another weakness is if was a cruel tyrant the people would over throw the the tyrant and power would be given to the free men

A democracy is a assembly of people who help rule in a city state or other
- One strength is they would have a big group of free men to make decisions on what should be done
- Another strength is they would only let the free men who were born in the city state help rule the city state
