- King of Sparta from 490- till death
- He willingly died because he new that a Sparten king had to die to win the war
- In Leonidas' last battle he only had 300 me with him

- Most likely lived in 476/7 B.C
- He studied the arts since the age of 16
- He came from a rich family
- He lived in the golden age
- He won 20 1st place prizes and many 2nd place prizes in drama

- Euripides was a trained athlete that won a few prizes, his true passion was arts
