  • Greek gods do not age and cannot decay.
  • Egyptian complex underworld
  • Egyptians are more equal to humans

Before the Universe there was an inanimate nothingness.

Before

  • Greeks: Chaos, a void.
  • Egyptians: Nu, a waste of water.

Out of the void, gods were created.

Gods

  • Greeks: Erebus, where death dwells, and Night.
  • Egyptians: Ra rose out of Nu.

Both Underworlds are guarded by demonic creatures, and a river.

  • Greeks: Hades guarded the underwold, in which there is Tartarus.
  • Egyptians: Osiris guards Duat in the Underworld.
