Ahmose and Tutankhamen

FIRST SLIDE

• Ahmose I ("the moon is born") liberated Egypt from the Hyksos.
• It is thought that he was only ten years old when he assumed the throne
• Both his father Seqenenre Tao II and his brother Kahmose died
• Fighting the Hyksos

AHOMOSE

• Ahmose began the 18th dynasty in 1539
• He went to revenge his brother and father death
• He defeated the Hyksos great victory
• And was now a pharaoh united the Egypt
• When he got back home to Thebes he was a hero

MOTIVATION TO ATTACK NUBIA

• Ahmose wanted to attack Nubia because they treated them
• So ahmose wanted to build a powerful army of Egypt so he can finally
• Ahmose traveled and started a battle and they defeat them. So he went to have a great victory

KING TUT

• Was the pharaoh of Egypt.He was responsible for restoring
• Of the god Amun.He also embarked on building projects in
• Kanaka and Thebes.He attempted to improve the diplomatic
• Relations outside of Egypt and lead his forces in battle against the Nubians.
