WHAT IS IT?

• Considered hardest type of weld
• Use of both hands at most times
• An arc weld that uses a tungsten electrode
• Tungsten electrode is non consumable

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• Generator creates a spark
• Filler metal manually added
• Slowly move along welding surface creating small pool along edge

WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH IT?

• Smaller projects
• Thin sheets of aluminum
• Non ferrous metals
• (Aluminum, copper, magnesium alloys)
