PRESENTATION OUTLINE
JARED'S LATE NIGHT PICKUP
Narrator- The story is set in an old 1979 Ford F-250 in North Carolina. Jared is on his way home from a Halloween party at his friends house and was on his way home when he encountered a lady at a bus stop.
Narrator- Jared pulls up the the stoplight and sees a lady at the bus stop late at night.
Jared- "Where are you headed to?"
Clara- "I'm going home, it's about an hour away."
Jared- "I'd be glad to take you hop in."
Narrator- It was below freezing that night and Clara was shivering.
Jared- "You look a little bit cold would you like to borrow my jacket and gloves?"
Clara- "That would be great."
Narrator- After an hour of driving they arrived at Clara's house.
Narrator- Jared and Clara were hitting it off on the ride to her house and Jared walks her to her door.
Jared- "We'll I had a great time maybe we can hang out some time."
Clara- "That be great, I'm free tomorrow if you don't have any plans."
Jared- "That'd be great I'll be over tomorrow. "
Narrator- Jared went to her house the next day to follow up what they agreed to the night before. Also he remembers that Clara still had his jacket and gloves.
Jared-*knocks*
Narrator-An old lady comes to the door.
Jared- "Is this the residence of Clara?"
Old lady- "Many years ago Clara used to live with me but she has passed away many years ago." "Why?"
Jared- "I just gave Clara a ride last night."
Old lady- *shaking*"My daughter buried a couple years ago in a cemetery about an hours drive from here."
Narrator- Jared runs to his car and speeds to the cemetery
Narrator- Jared comes screaming in the parking lot looking for Clara's tombstone and finds his gloves at the entrance and his coat folded on her grave.
"Jared- Wha- What is this..."
Narrator- Jared is devastated because his only love is a ghost that he thought was a real person on the side of the road
