Boundaries that the Qin kept have defined China today.

2 Dynasties for a while. The Western Han reigned from 206 B.C. To 24 A.D.
The Eastern Han reigned from 25 A.D. To 220 A.D.

Liu Bang became the first Han ruler.

Han Dynasty is sometimes called the Golden Age of Ancient China.

Han Dynasty created paper, iron casting, crop rotation, acupuncture, advancements in medicine, mathematics, building, agriculture, engineering, astronomy, salt, and silk.

Han is named after a Chinese River.
There were 26 emperors in all.
The Han emperors were more traditional.

People during this time were pheasant farmers.

The Han believed that they had to eat in the afterlife, so terra cotta pigs/ animals were buried with them.

The Silk Road was created during this time,and is still used today.
