It's a plain winter's day

Pop leading his children,

Who eat all of his goods.

The children, girl and boy,

Skip off with joy of youth

As crumbs fall behind and

Only Pop knows the truth.

Abandoning his kids,

Their Pop leaves them to die.

Hug each other and cry.
