thou shalt

  • Avoid modern contractions. Use 'twould, mayn't, & 'twill.
  • Use inflected ending, such as embracED & openED.
  • Drop the v. Not ever, but e'er. Not even, but e'en.
  • Avoid expressions with "up": get up, woke up, what's up.
  • Use well & goodly instead of "right".

& Thou Shalt

  • Use pounds & pence, not dollars & cents
  • Adopt reflexive phrases: I step me to the alehouse
  • Switch sentence construction: Give not me a poor ale.
  • Add not after the verb: I love not thee.
