Located on a 31 acre plot called Soldiers Field in Allston, Ma
The land was donated by Henry Lee Higginson in 1890
Has a similar shape to the Panathenaic Stadium in Greece
Cost $310,000 to build ($8.14 million in 2014 dollars)
Home to the Harvard Football and Lacrosse teams

Harvard Stadium is a modern example of Roman Architecture
Arches on the exterior of the stadium
Columns on the interior of the stadium
Arches and Columns were prominent in Roman Architecture
Draws similarities to the Colosseum in Rome

Capacity is 30,323 spectators
Hosted a few pre-season soccer games for the 1984 Olympics
Home of the Boston Cannons, Pro Lacrosse team
Bob Marley had a concert here in 1979
