UNITED STATES

• Australia and the US maintain A unique bilateral partnership. Central to the relationship are the ANZUS alliance and the Australia and United States. Free trade agreement. Australia and the United States established diplomatic relations on the eighth January 1940

JAPAN

• The Australian and Japan agreement is the most mature and closet trade agreement in Asia, and is important to both countries Strategically and economically. The relationship is underpinned by a shared commitment to democracy also human rights and the rule of the law and as well as common approaches to the international security.

SOUTH KOREAN

• Both countries established diplomatic relations in May 1963. Australia and South Korea are trading partners in Asia pacific region and South Korea has an embassy in Canberra and Australia has an embassy in Seoul.
