• steel toed boots
• ensuring the guard is down when using machinery
• wearing protective goggles
• wearing ear plugs

Know the RISKS before hand

• WHMIS when working with chemicals
• workplace training

Staying Alert

• machinery broken?
• warning labels or signs?
• moving equipment that could pose hazard?
• Am I comfortable with doing this job saftely

Prevention

• informing supervisor of hazards
• inspire co-workers to be safe
