NATO had sent two Norwegian navy vessel to the Baltic coastline because of the crisis in the Ukrain. Russia could pressure them to change their ways and Russia could cutting off their oil supplies. The US and NATO need all the support they can get to deter Russia from seizing the Ukraine.

Scotland is going to have a nation wide vote in September to become independent form the UK. For a county to become independent the cost maybe unmanageable. The US as vowed to support Scotland in which ever way they choose.

India's demand for fuel increased at the slowest pace in more then a decade. Why does America care?
The slow increase in demand for fuel shows that India's economy maybe slowing down. This matters to America because India is a big trading partner and America needs to sell its goods and services in order for our economy to grow.
