WHAT IS MARIJUANA?

  • Cannabis plants are believed to have evolved in Central Asia, specifically in the regions that are now Mongolia and southern Siberia.

WHAT FORMS IS IT FOUND IN?

  • Joint: dried, rolled inside paper, then smoked.

  • Birth defects
  • Horrible lung destruction
  • Effects your memory and emotions.

POSITIVE EFFECTS OF MARIJUANA

  • Treat glaucoma
  • Can help control seizing
  • Decreases the symptoms of severe seizures known as Dravet's syndrome

STATISTICS OF MARIJUANA

  • Over 94 million people in the US have admitted to doing weed once.
  • Among 12-17 year olds 6.7% were current marijuana users in 2007
  • 40% of adult males tested positive for being high on marijuana while being arrested.
