Health Triangle

The health triangle consists of..

  • Physical health
  • Social health
  • Mental and emotional health

Physical

  • You must always have a healthy lifestyle to keep up with this side of the triangle.
  • This includes; sickness and disease, in shape or not, weight and height, amount of sleep, nutrition, heart, lungs, organs, and the use of harmful substances.
  • This has a lot to do with choices and decisions you make.

Social

  • This side of the triangle has everything to do with your relationships with others.
  • Including your family, friends, teachers, and girlfriends or boyfriends.
  • Having a healthy relationship at home and in public is always important to your stability.

Mental and Emotional

  • Mental and emotional health is all in your head, literally.
  • Your knowledge, attitude, self-esteem, skills, thoughts, feelings, stress, and mental illnesses all have to do with the last side of the triangle.
  • A lot can go through your mind that you don't think is harming you, but really is.

Health is a combination of all three parts of the triangle. To actually be "healthy" your health physically, socially, mentally, and emotionally has to be balanced. All three sides touch and have a cause and effect relationship with each other.
