PRESENTATION OUTLINE

A is for Apathy.
Many characters in this book show apathy. As in, showing no interest towards anything except for the television. They seem to have no opinion, but when they do, the people all think the same thing.

B IS FOR BOOKS.
The book is centered around the burning books and the censorship that was placed for the books. Owning books is a huge "no no" in this society. If you do own books, you get your house burned down.

C is for Clarisse
CLARISSE WAS KNOWN TO BE THE OUTSIDER. THE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY THOUGHT FOR HERSELF, AND WAS PART OF THE OLD SOCIETY. SHE ACTUALLY THINKS, AND MAKES GUY THINK AS WELL.

D is for Death.
Everyone in this society is basically "brain dead" with no opinion, just going with what other people do and say. They have no individuality.

E is for Emptiness. The characters all are empty inside, with no personality. They have empty minds, not thinking outside of the normality.

F is for Fahrenheit 451. "...The temperature at which books burn." The book is all about censorship, and how the world is.

G is for Guy.
Guy is an unhappy guy, who is looking for answers in books. He starts to actually think for himself, because of Clarisse. She showed him that it benefits you to think for yourself.

H is for History.
The history in this book is split up the thinkers believe there was a time where books were ok and acceptable. They also think that fireman once actually stopped fires. The other half of the people believed that the history was the same as the present.
