HelloCare is my second company. I founded a company called Milkies in 2008, exited in 2013. Learned a lot. Gave it all I had and learned a ton. When I exited I never wanted to start another company. Didn't want to put my family through it. So I went into HelloCare with an awareness of how it would effect my lifestyle and my loved ones. I wanted it to be fun and full of purpose with healthy boundaries. HAHA

this is where we are now, super proud of this team. Best in the world I think. We have made some stratregic choices. We are the only local agency that does not take Medicaid. That may change but for now we take only the best payers to preserve the caregiver pay and experience. We own our building that allows us to create a safe space for our staff and control overhead.

We want to be a one stop white glove experience for our clients and families. We offer short shifts and low weekly minimums even as other agencies are going in the other direction. During my time as a caregiver I learn how awkward it is to have a 4 hour shift with only 1 hour of work. We are giving failed models another try with new pricing. Bath and Beyond are 1 hour "drop ins" to get someone out of bed, cleaned up and ready to start the day.

these are challenging issues to long term consistent employment. Commitment to high quality caregivers may mean HelloCare is the stabilizing force in a caregivers life.
