• Both cerebral hemispheres participate in basic functions such as..:
• Storing memories
• Controlling skeletal muscules
• Reciving and Analyzing sensory impulses

LEFT HEMISPHERE:

• Its commonly dominant for language related activities :
• Speech,writing, even reading
• Its even used for more complex intellectual functions requiring verbal and computation skills

RIGHT HEMISPHERE:

• In most cases the non-dominant hemisphere.
• It specializes in nonverbal functions such as motor tasks
• Which require orientation of the body in space.
• Understanding and interpreting musical patterns
• And non verbal visual experiences aswell as emotional and intuitive thinking.
