Henry Ford was a very smart man and started to learn his grounds as an industrialist early on. Born on July 30, 1863 in Greenfield Township on a farm, he knew he wanted more to do with his life like building things or innovation. This mind set has helped him to become one of America's most well known people in it's history.
The Model A was the Ford Motor Company's first car. In order to sell their cars they had to get licensed by A.L.A.M, a group that promised to 'tidy up' the car selling business.
Ford had the idea of a race against A.L.A.M in order to have the rights to sell cars. He won with his own model car even though he was against Alex Winton, a famous racer at the time.
He invented the moving assembly line which was a huge upgrade for the car industry. This invention gave people specific jobs and aloud cars to be constructed with in 93 minutes.
Henry Ford had a certain admiration for Adolf Hitler and Germany itself. He was awarded the Grand Cross of the German Eagle in 1938, the highest Medal of Honor from the Nazi regime for a foreign.
Besides all of the controversial thoughts of Henry Ford, he was still a great asset to the innovation of technology not only in America, but also for the world. He proved that your place of birth does not have to have an affect on what you would like to do in the future. Unfortunately, Ford died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 7, 1947 at the age of 83. Even though he is gone, his efforts have caused a dent in history.
