Henry Ford
Henry Ford was born on July 30th, 1863.
Henry Ford grew up in Dearborn, Michigan on a farm with his mother, father, and four younger siblings.
He spent most of his childhood doing schoolwork and chores around the farm.
From an early age, Henry Ford was interested in cars.

Henry Ford never attended high school or university.
He finished his 8th grade education in Springwells Middle School, a one room school.
After completing 8th grade, he took a bookkeeping course at a commercial school.

Henry Ford was a mechanic for a short amount of time, but then was employed in the engineering field.
He worked for Edison Illuminating Company in Detroit.
He then went on to create the Ford Motor Company and invented many cars, most famously the Model T Ford car.
