HERMES

By Hermes/ Isaac Okuley

MY YOUTH

  • I was born on Mount Cyllene.
  • When I was born, I stole sheep from Apollo and hid them in Athens
  • I used cow intestines and a tortoise shell to make the first lyre/reed pipes.
  • I went back home unnoticed. When I was blamed by Zeus and Apollo for stealing the sheep ,
  • I played music on my pipes and I gave him the pipes for the sheep.
