TRUCKER ARRESTED AFTER STARTING A FIERY 28-VEHICLE CRASH

WHAT

• a semi-truck holding lumber plowed into vehicles on a crowded highway of Interstate 70 near Denver. It caused a fire so intense that it melted the roadway and metal off of cars. Authorities had to wait until the fire was put out to confirm the death toll from Thursday afternoon's 28-vehicle pileup because of the devastation caused by the fire. After the fire, 4 were found dead.

WHO

• Rogel Lazaro Aguilera who is 23 was the person driving the semi truck. The families that lost someone or got hurt would also be affected because the people in the crash would be physically effected/hurt while the families would be mentally effected.

WHERE

• This happened at Lakewood Colorado. The highway was a crowded section of Interstate 70.

WHEN

• This happened on April 25, 2019. On April 26, he was sent to a county jail waiting for a court date.

HOW

• Rogel was headed down a hill when he slammed into traffic because their was a previous crash ahead of them. As he slammed into the first car, it was a chain reaction of crashes and explosions from ruptured gas tanks. Rogel should have been more careful driving down a highway.

• I think that it is terrible that one mistake one person made caused a 28 vehicle car crash and that people got hurt from it

• I think that it is very sad that innocent people got hurt or lost their lives by Rogel who accidentally caused a crash

• This should affect the world because it is so people that do drive should be more careful on the streets and this should affect you because you will might be driving soon
