How Does Niddah Occur?

Removing Niddah Status

Hefsek Tahara

• Before 7 Neki'im begin
• Ashkenazim: 5 days, Sefardim 4 days
• Must be before sunset
• Bath/shower before to remove doubt (question if to wait after)
• Moch Dachuk

Sheva Neki'im

• Two (at least one) per day
• Minimum - Hefsek, and days 1 + 7.
• Don't assume red is red

White Underwear

• Any spots are a kesem
• Don't do additional checks!!!
• Change to avoid shiur gris
